Course Information
We had perfect weather for Aerification of the greens, tees, and approaches. The crew did an outstanding job in the process. Thank you for your cooperation in allowing us to delay aerification a week because of the installation of the new irrigation pumps and Mother Nature.
Target projects for the month of April 2022:
- Continue to repair irrigation leaks and valves that have failed.
- Raise and lower irrigation heads/valve boxes throughout the golf course.
- Hollow tine fairways, depending on ground conditions being firm enough.
- Install the diffuser system in #7 and #15 ponds.
- Spray weeds, structures, flowerbeds, and tree wells throughout the Golf Course.
- Install new green tee stones in the fairways.
- Widen out the fairways and approaches, depending on ground conditions being firm enough.
- Mow out the walk offs from the tee to the fairway, depending on ground conditions being firm enough.
- Possibly create more bailout areas around the greens.
- Install a new collar around the separated concrete culverts on the right of #18 rough.
- Possibly hire JT Madsen to install a level pad that is 25’x45’ for the new artesian well on the right of #1.
- Continue with drainage on the driving range, #16, and #9, depending on ground conditions being firm enough and time.
Men’s Club Volunteers
The Men’s Club Volunteers removed the Asp trees on the left of #9 and the right of #17 rough and started clearing a walking path on #6 tee complex. Great job, Volunteer’s!
