Your Ladies’ 9-Hole executive board have been meeting together to finalize the plans for fun weekly golf games and social events, with hopefully a few surprises this year. We are very excited for our season to start next month! So, it is time for the “snowbirds” to plan their return to Whidbey and for the locals to start warming up on the practice range. We don’t want anyone to miss our Opening Day Breakfast Meeting and Back 9 Scramble on April 7! Watch your emails for specific details later this month. 

If you are not already a member of the Ladies 9 Hole group, please contact me for more information. Any woman who is a Proprietary, Social, or Colony Club member of UBG&CC is eligible for membership. (Colony and Social membership rules limiting the number of rounds played per month shall apply.) We are a friendly group and welcome all skill levels. We all enjoy the exercise, fun golf games, friendships made, and social activities! 

Our hearts are saddened with the passing of one of our long-time members earlier last month, Martha Randall. We will all miss her smiling face, her humor, and her great enjoyment of the game. Our thoughts and prayers are with her husband, Lewis, and her family as they grieve this unexpected loss. We will tee off on April 7 remembering the fun times we shared with Martha on the golf course.
