We are officially in the “storm season” on Whidbey Island! As I write this, most of the Island is without power and no restoration timeline for us has been given. For the most up-to-date information during times like these, please visit the Golf Shop Updates page on the website.

As you all know, the golf operation is in the midst of a transition. Our longtime Director of Golf, Brion Lubach, is moving on after this month to spend more time with his family. Words cannot express how much he will be missed around the Club. Brion hired me on as an Assistant Golf Professional back in 2014, and I am very thankful for all I have learned from him. It truly has been a pleasure to work under his tutelage. If you see Brion around the Club, be sure to thank him for all his time and efforts over the years! Whoever takes his place will surely have big shoes to fill.
