What's Happening at the Club

We are on schedule to break ground on new tennis/pickleball courts starting this month! The existing courts are overdue for a rebuild and resurface as they are cracked beyond repair. With the popularity of these sports here at the Club – and beyond, we have exciting plans to rebuild the existing tennis courts and add two separate pickleball courts.

Project overview:

Grade gravel parking lot for pickleball courts.
Grade the area next to existing tennis courts for expansion.
Re-surface existing tennis courts with new concrete.
Pour concrete for pickleball courts.
Apply surface coating.
Install new fence posts as required for all courts.

Pickleball Courts

It’s time to improve your swing, and this time we aren’t talking about golf! The Club will be hosting Ballroom Dance lessons with 17-time Gold Medalist and Regional Ballroom Dance Champion, Brandi Taylor. Learn to Salsa, Rumba, or even Cha Cha the night away.

We love hosting your parties in our banquet facilities! But keep in mind, we also have a special to-go catering menu designed for parties of any size. Food is prepared on presentation trays and ready for easy pick up with just a week’s notice. Take a UBGCC party to go!

The corner of the putting green has a platform of 8-inch paver stones and a unique long bench designating the space as the “Member Honor Roll.” Social, Colony, and Golf members are encouraged to honor anyone, including current members or those who have passed, by purchasing a paver engraved with that person’s first and last name for $200.
