Fortunately, the fall aerification process went well and the course is healing quickly. September brought us great weather with few exceptions. The Club continues to thrive, and the course has stayed consistently busy.
The Women’s Association and the Ladies 9 Hole continue on Tuesdays and Thursdays through October, so make sure to check the Golf Shop website for tee time availability.
Keep in mind that tee times begin at 8:00 AM throughout the off-season (except Mondays). We will continue to book tee times one week in advance, going forward.
Golf Tip of the Month
When playing golf in wet conditions, ALWAYS be sure to wipe off the clubface with a dry towel PRIOR to hitting your shot. Additional moisture and debris on the clubface reduce the friction created, which reduces spin, leading to shots that may go farther or shorter than expected. Golf is hard enough; don’t make it any harder than it needs to be!
