This is the last month of the 2021 Ladie’s 9 Hole Golf Association’s organized golf competition. The season has raced by quickly. I appreciate the opportunity to have served as the Ladie’s 9 Hole Captain and have enjoyed getting to know everyone a little better.   

Last month we celebrated the Ladie’s 9 Hole Summer Social in the Banquet Room with 65 members and their guests. Thanks to the wonderful Useless Bay Staff, the setup, the service, and the dinner buffet were superb! It was gratifying to see everyone having fun and participating in a putting contest. Included are a couple photos of the event.  

The Ladie’s 9-Hole Club Championship took place last month as well.

Awards will be presented for the Club Championship, Most Improved, and Ecce Winners at the October 7 breakfast. 

The nominations for next year’s officers are as follows: Janet Jernigan, Captain; Carol Doering, Co-Captain; Laura Youngs, Secretary; and Teresa Ondrak, Treasurer. The election for the above officers will be held at the Awards breakfast on October 7 at 8:30 AM. Please email me at hbrview@comcast.net if you plan to attend.  

Thank you to my officers who supported me and everyone who offered encouragement during my term as captain. I leave the association in capable hands and look forward to golfing with everyone next year.
